Archway Music is looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic music tutors to join our online teaching team.

We provide high-quality, student-centred music lessons that help learners build confidence, develop strong technique, and enjoy making music. Our tutors work with students of different ages and abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced players looking to improve.

This is a flexible opportunity for committed musicians who enjoy teaching and want to be part of a thoughtful, professional and supportive tuition service.

We are interested in hearing from tutors who are:

  • Confident musicians with strong knowledge of their instrument

  • Patient, encouraging and clear communicators

  • Reliable, organised and professional

  • Comfortable teaching online

  • Able to adapt lessons to suit each student’s goals, age and ability

  • Committed to safe, respectful and appropriate teaching practice

Teaching experience is preferred, but we are also open to applications from strong musicians who can demonstrate maturity, communication skills and a genuine interest in teaching.

Who we’re looking for

Tutors working with Archway Music are self-employed and teach students online. We aim to keep the process simple and professional:

  • Lessons are arranged around your availability

  • Students are matched based on instrument, level and suitability

  • You are expected to prepare appropriately for lessons

  • Communication with students and parents should remain professional and clear

  • Archway Music provides guidance on expectations, safeguarding and lesson standards

You will not be expected to take on students unless the arrangement works for you.
